The Perks of Being Single

Young people even adults today has become so desperate to find someone who will reaffirm the love they are willing to give. Someone whom they can call ‘love’, ‘babe’, ‘sweetie’ and the like. To them, having a lover or simply a partner is the fulfilment of their dreams and that they can be completely happy.
Have you forgotten the first time you smiled and your parents smiled back at you? That time for sure you don’t know why you smiled nor if you did the act at all. The point is, you don’t need a reason to smile or to be happy. You just gotta let it be. It isn’t found with another person. It simply and definitely starts within you.

1.  You’ll Realize your Worth
All this time you’ve been searching for that someone who’ll make an effort to let you find out who you should be. You think you need someone to feel special but once you still find yourself alone you start to get frustrated. But when you take a glance outside the window, you’ll realize that perhaps you’re not meant for love but to love. Because it takes someone to love himself and all to be loved in return.
2.  You’ll have Greater Time for yourself and your loved ones
When you have nothing else to think about, like a boyfriend to text or call every time of the day, to wait for before going home, to think about if he’s doing good, you’ll feel incredibly free. You can go wherever you want and do whatever you want to do with your friends, family and even yourself.
3.  Being Alone can lead you to someone better
God can love you unconditionally than anyone else. He’s the love you can trust that will never leave you forsaken. You don’t need to find Him because He’s always there. Only few of us could find true love because only few of us longs to be His bride first. All you have to do is patiently wait.

May be those reason has given you joy in solitude. Love is everywhere. It could be seen on how your mom wakes up early to cook your breakfast, how your father talks to you when you get home late, how you receive teases from your siblings and how friends travel a long way just to have lunch with despite the distance. It’s just a matter of appreciation. You don’t have to seek for it. Once you appreciate every little things.
